New NOC and Servers Expand Reach and Capability.
Information Transport Solutions, Inc. (ITS), a leading provider of broadband and network services to education, government, and industry in the Southeast, opened a new office in Montgomery, Ala. at the world-class Tier IV RSA Datacenter. ITS is providing support at this new office for many of our commercial and public sector customers and the new Montgomery Cyber Connection Internet exchange.
“Since we are experiencing such great success diversifying into new verticals, it was time for our company to add a third Network Operation Center – NOC – and supporting offices,” ITS President Quincy P. Minor commented. “We chose Montgomery due to its proximity to many of our government clients, and co-locating at the advanced RSA Datacenter sealed the deal.”
ITS and the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting event on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, to celebrate the occasion. Company executives, staff, Chamber officials, and ITS customers were on hand to celebrate.
“Not only are we helping support the Southeast’s newest Internet exchange, but this expansion will also help us connect more governments, businesses, and schools – from the fiber going into the buildings to the wireless networks linking devices,” concluded ITS CEO Steve Meany.
