Information Transport Solutions, Inc. Supports American Cancer Society.
TEAM MEMBERS DONATE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO UPCOMING CHARITY EVENT
Employees at Information Transport Solutions, Inc. (ITS) recently showed strong support for the American Cancer Society’s April 25th Relay for Life in Wetumpka, AL. Participating in the annual charity event has become a tradition at ITS, with employees enthusiastically pledging their time and resources. This year, “Team ITS” has already raised more than $2,300 for the fight against a deadly disease.
“As a company and as a team, we are committed to improving our community and supporting cancer research,” said ITS President Quincy Minor. “I could not be prouder of the compassion and generosity of our employees to sacrifice their time and resources for such a worthy cause.”
The American Cancer Society provides grants to cancer research and conducts public health awareness campaigns. Relay for Life supports this mission by raising funds and awareness through community-driven events.
“Many of us have seen firsthand the pain and suffering cancer causes,” stated ITS CEO Steve Meany. “Relay for Life is a positive way to celebrate survivors, remember victims, and fight for a cure.”
On April 25th, supporters will gather at the Wetumpka High School Football Field to participate in the 12-hour relay that will feature a Survivors Reception, Survivors Lap, and Luminaria Ceremony.
